Greetings to all our current and new members,

The Wattle Park Saints committee is comprised of members who have been holding committee positions for quite a number of years.

These committee positions are Registrar, Rob van der Hock, Treasurer, Linda Jones and Uniform Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator, Jane Sutherland.

Nearly all of their children have grown up, and while their contribution to Wattle Park Saints has been enormous and invaluable, their time on the committee needs to come to an end.

As your Club President, I am appealing to all our Club parents who have young players to step up and offer some of your time and commitment to take responsibility for one of the above positions.

It is now time to “change the guard” for a club who has contributed for over 60 years in our basketball community.

It is essential as a sporting club to not have the same parents running the club who do not have children playing in the junior competition in MEBA.

We need new life, energy, mixed with an appreciation of our old school values to keep our club a future strong sporting experience for your children in this generation.

So you can better understand the roles to be filled I have included some of what Rob, Linda and Jane have been responsible for and said about their time on the committee in the attached newsletter.

Please contact if you have any queries or want to help the club move forward.
