Registrations for the forthcoming Summer 2020 / 21 season are now OPEN.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AS THERE HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE SEASON STRUCTURE AND REGISTRATION PROCESS
KEY CHANGES FOR UPCOMING SEASON
- The Summer Season will resume on Saturday 23rd January 2021
- All boys midweek games will be played on a Friday night, this now includes U10s.
- All midweek girls will play on a Monday evening.
- The midweek mixed U8s will remain on a Monday.
- The Saturday GEBC competition is the same.
PLAYER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Players registered for Winter 2020 season, who did not withdraw their registration, do not need to re-register below.

Players new to Wattle Park Saints
Wattle Park Saints players that did not register for the Winter 2020 season.
Players who withdrew their Winter 2020 registration who wish to re-join for the Summer 20/21 Season.
Registrations will open on Monday 16th November and close on Wednesday 25 November.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
1. Once you click on the registration link, you will be presented with a screen to select which competition to register (i.e. Midweek or Saturday):Junior Domestic – Monday – Friday Competition (MEBA) or Junior Domestic – Saturday Competition (GEBC)
2. Once you selected the competition, the system will display a Season Information screen; please click on Get Started. If it is your first time using PlayHQ, you will be required to create an account. The account should be created using a parent’s details. Once the account has been created, you will be able to log into the system and register each of the players accordingly.

When you register your child with Wattle Park Saints, Basketball Victoria requires each player to pay a “Basketball Victoria Annual Participation Licence” fee for insurance purposes. The Basketball Victoria annual fee is $25 for Juniors and $39 for players 18yrs and over. This fee will be listed as a separate item at payment and will cover the player for 365days/2 seasons. Therefore, a player registering for the following Summer season 20/21, will not be charged the Basketball Victoria fee again until the end of the cycle.
The Club Registration fee is $95. This will also appear as a separate line item. Therefore, the total registration payment for juniors is $120 and for players 18 years and over is $134.
If you are registering a 2nd and subsequent child, you will register each separately and under the same account name (i.e. the parents email address). The system will automatically apply a 5% discount on the “club registration fee” for 2nd and subsequent family members.
Please note that the system is not able to offer a discount to a player playing multiple games.

If you are a coach (parent or junior), you will also need to register as a coach through PlayHQ using the same registration link. You will need to enter your Working With Children's Check details. There are no coach-registration fees.

Please order uniforms promptly, straight after registration. There is approximately a 6 week wait. The Club does not hold uniforms in store. A player cannot take the court without a uniform.

If you have already registered and decide you no longer wish to be considered for team placement prior to 3rd January 2021, you will need to email the Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org. A refund may be provided; however, a $25 administration fee will be deducted from the original registration payment. Please note that Basketball Victoria is not able to refund the Annual Participation Licence fee of $25/$34.
Once teams have been arranged and if you subsequently decide you no longer wish to play, there will be no refund provided. If there are extenuating circumstances for why a player is no longer available to play, you will need to email the Age Group Coordinator requesting a refund and this will be considered at the next available Club Committee meeting.
If a player is injured during the course of a season, there will be no refunds provided. If it is a long-term injury, causing a player to miss over 75% of the season (including finals), you can email the Age Group Coordinator and at the next available Club Committee meeting, it may be considered to carry over the registration fees to the following season.
